Since December 2025, the Radio Technology Working Group at KIT has been the owner of the club station call sign “DK1T” – based on “D KIT.” Since it is a short call sign with only four characters, it is particularly suitable for use in contests, and it is easy to understand in both telegraphy and SSB. Our previous club station call sign “DF0UK” remains assigned and will continue to be used, as will the special call sign DL200KIT, which has been assigned until the end of the year and will be used “on air” by members of the university group to mark the 200th anniversary of KIT.
