200 Years of KIT!
On October 7, 1825, what is now KIT was founded as the polytechnic school of Karlsruhe.
As part of the KIT anniversary celebrations, we as a university group would like to join everyone else at KIT in paying fitting tribute to the 200th anniversary of KIT.
For our activations, we plan to operate mainly in portable mode in and around the KIT South Campus. If the weather does not permit this, we will fall back on our station. Activations will also take place in suitable modes at special KIT events in which our group wishes to participate.
Activations will mainly take place in the evenings at our regular meetings.

Modes & Frequencies
For our planned main activations (portable), the 40-10m range is planned in SSB.
From our station, we will also be operating in CW and FT8. Other modes such as RTTY and SSTV are in the planning stage.
QSL
Contacts will be logged by us and uploaded to QRZ, LotW, and ClubLog at regular intervals.
A special paper QSL card (see image above) can be requested via ClubLog. Alternatively, via DF0UK via Buro.
Equipment
Our members' own equipment is used for portable activations.
NEWS:
The first activation on the 7th of October will happen on the Forum of KIT. Three antennas and transceivers are planned to be QRV on 2 bands in SSB and one band in FT8. We look very forward to the first contacts! We will start building up the setup at 5pm and will be QRV soon after!
